Hello everybody ! A few days ago I had the great pleasure of receiving my new Ryomen Sukuna FuRyu figurine, from the famous anime and manga Jujutsu Kaisen ! As you know, I'm a collector of anime figurines, so I had to buy this one, because I'm a big fan of this awesome character! But what's it really worth ? Let's find out in this article.

How did I get it ?
It's actually quite simple! However, you do need to allow for a certain budget. Indeed, the figures market is tough and everything is on the increase, especially if you're planning to buy it in Japan. You have to take into account transport costs and customs duties, which are expensive. In my case, I was able to get it via the Nin Nin Game website, which sells a whole range of items from Japan: figurines, cards, food, drinks, video games and lots more. They ship internationally, but make sure they deliver to your country, there may be surprises. The site is reliable, I've never had any problems when ordering from them, I've been ordering from them regularly for several years now. Here it is! Your Sukuna served up on a platter! Cool, isn't it? Well, now it's time to order it and see whether your wallet will cry or not. I ordered it at the end of 2022 using the Euro-Logistic carrier. This allows me to order the figurine without having to pay customs duties. The shipping cost was over 100 euros, which may sound scary, but in reality, I was a winner. In fact, customs fees are very expensive depending on where you live, so try to find out as much as you can to avoid any further surprises. That's how much my Sukuna cost! It cost me a lot, but frankly, it's worth it. I waited about 3 weeks for it to arrive in my mailbox against a signature from the delivery man. Here are a few photos, since that's what you're waiting for, right?

My review.
To be perfectly honest, I picked it up on a whim at first. I wanted to have a quality figure of my favorite character from the license, so I took a look at this one I'd been eyeing. Well, I was surprised by the quality of the product! The details are well done, it's solid and the paint doesn't smudge on the edges. As for the character, it's a faithful representation of the work, with no liberties taken. His face is very handsome, and you can feel all the mischief of the King of Curses who, compared to his other figurines, doesn't pull a face! Here, you can feel his madness and cunning. To the touch, you can feel the quality of his kimono: the folds are well made, and every detail of his outfit is respected. If I had to give just one drawback, it would be the color of his hair, which I find too pink; I thought it would be a little less light. But once again, I'm quibbling over a simple detail, and this is just a subjective opinion.
As for the throne that serves as its base, you have to be careful - it's very prickly on the tips! It's also quite heavy, but like Sukuna, it's very well done. There are lots of skulls all around him, and they're imposing, reinforcing his Machiavellian side. The manual for putting him on his base is very practical and easy to understand. I've only mentioned it briefly, but to put it on its base, you simply place it on top of the notches! You'll see in the manual, but it's very easy to understand. I believe it's one of the least annoying figures I've ever bought.
It was also there that, a few months earlier, I bought my first Jujutsu Kaisen figure: Gojo Satoru. And yes, since my Sukuna figure is actually only my second, I've been collecting figures from this series since very recently. Indeed, my other display cabinets are full of figures from Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Naruto, My Hero Academia and other series... I promise I'll show them to you! But why don't I take a look at today's interested parties :
Well, if it isn't our two strongest exorcists! We all dream of seeing them fight, don't we? Manga readers know what I'm talking about. They're obviously not on the same scale, as they're not in the same range. Still, I think they look good together. I really want to have a complete collection of Jujutsu Kaisen characters. There are several ranges, from the most basic to the most elaborate. Of course, not all the characters are represented yet, so you'll have to be patient. I can't wait to tell you more.
