The Zenin family is one of the oldest and most powerful jujutsu families. It is known for its inherited techniques and elitist attitude towards sorcerers who do not possess innate cursed techniques. The Zenin have a long tradition of elite fighters and maintain a strict hierarchy based on strength and ability.

The Zenin family's hereditary techniques include :
Astral Projection : A technique that allows its user to divide a second into 24 images, enabling them to move with extreme precision. Spell of Naobito Zenin, then passed on to his son Naoya Zenin.
Ten Shadows Technique : Invokes ten types of familiar through its shadow. It is the power of Megumi Fushiguro and, in particular, of one of the heads of the Zenin clan during the Edo/Keicho period (1600 - 1868 and 1596 - 1615 respectively).
Notable members :
Maki Zenin : A descendant of the Zenin family, rejected because of her lack of occult energy, but who makes up for it with exceptional physical strength and unshakeable determination. She wanted to become an exorcist so that they would regret having mistreated her and put an end to them.
Naoya Zenin : Chief of the Flamboyants, the clan's elite unit, he is the talented one in the family, known for his jujutsu skills and his contempt for those he considers inferior. When his father Naobito died, he wanted to kill Megumi, since he had been chosen to head the clan.
Toji Fushiguro (Zenin) : A former member of the Zenin clan, he became a hitman known as the “exorcist killer”, working for the astral cult. Like his cousin Maki, he was rejected by his clan because of his lack of occult energy. He took his wife name Fushiguro and gave birth to Megumi Fushiguro.
Megumi Fushiguro (Zenin) : He is none other than the son of Toji Fushiguro, a former member of the Zenin clan turned contract killer. After his father and Tsumiki's mother left, leaving their respective children alone, Megumi was placed under the supervision of Satoru Gojo at the expense of the Zenin clan. It was at this point in his life that he decided to embrace the life of an exorcist.
Gojo Family.
History and influence :
The Gojo family is one of the most respected, thanks to its possession of one of the most powerful techniques in the entire jujutsu world. This family has a quasi-legendary status, mainly thanks to Satoru Gojo, who is considered the strongest exorcist of his generation. At present, we know very little about the clan's members.
Techniques and Powers :
Sixth Eye : A rare gift that allows its user to see and understand cursed energy with absolute clarity, making it almost impossible to surprise or deceive them.
Limitless Technique : This technique enables the user to manipulate space on a near-divine level, offering unrivalled defensive and offensive capabilities. Users can create barriers, manipulate gravity, and even erect impenetrable barriers.

Satoru Gojo : The most emblematic character in the series, leader of the clan, Satoru is a teacher at the exorcist school and is the most powerful of the current era, whose strength and techniques are feared and respected the world over. He is the first in 400 years to possess the Sixth Eye, a rare gift even within the clan.
Yuta & Satoru are descendants of the famous exorcist Sugawara no Michizane, making them distant relatives.
Kamo Family.
History and influence :
The Kamo family is also one of the great jujutsu families, known for its blood manipulation technique and its influence in the political and military circles of the Jujutsu Kaisen world. They are often involved in plots and machinations to maintain or increase their power.
Techniques and Powers:
Blood Manipulation Technique : This technique allows members of the Kamo family to control their own blood or that of others, offering unique offensive and defensive capabilities, such as instant coagulation or the creation of blood projectiles.
Notable members :
Noritoshi Kamo : A current descendant who bears the same name as a legendary and infamous ancient sorcerer, known for his expertise in blood manipulation and his ambitions to restore the glory of the Kamo family.
Kenjaku : 150 years ago, he took possession of Noritoshi Kamo's body to create Death Painting Wombs, gaining access to the Kamo clan's power of blood manipulation. He is the clan's current leader.
Choso : He's a death painting cursed womb, hybrids born of the mixture between a human and plagues by the hand of Noritoshi Kamo (Kenjaku). He possesses the power to manipulate blood, inherited from his progenitor. It has been preserved and classified as an S-class relic.
You thought we were done? Well, we're not! There's still one last important family to talk about. We're not referring to a clan, but to a rather special family that has gradually been revealed in recent scans. I'm obviously talking about the Itadori family !
Itadori Family.
Background and history :
Although the Zenin, Gojo and Kamo families are the most famous and influential in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, another family plays a crucial role in the story : the Itadori family. Unlike the great bloodlines of jujutsu sorcerers, the Itadori family is modest and seemingly ordinary. However, it becomes central thanks to Yuji Itadori, the protagonist.
Notable members :
Yuji Itadori : The main hero of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji is a young man with extraordinary physical strength, even before he became a jujutsu sorcerer. His life changes radically when he accidentally swallows a finger of Sukuna, the King of Curses, becoming his host.
Wasuka Itadori : Yuji's grandfather, who passed away at the start of the series, cared deeply for not only his grandson but also his son Jin Itadori. He asked him to stay away from a certain young woman with whom he bore Yuji : Kaori (Possessed by Kenjaku).
Jin Itadori : Yuji's father, with who he had an affair with Kenjaku, whom he loved dearly. He is also said to be the reincarnation of Ryomen Sukuna's twin brother.
Ryomen Sukuna : Over a thousand years ago, Sukuna was a human living in the golden age of exorcism. He devoured his twin brother in his hungry mother's womb. Now a demon with two faces and four arms, he was challenged by many exorcists. He later became a relic and passed through the ages. Yuji found one of his fingers and ate it, making him his host. Sukuna is said to be Jin's twin brother and Yuji's uncle.
By this family tree and Kenjaku's influence, the Itadori & Kamo families are closely linked. We hope Gege will enlighten us further !
